What They're Saying

WHAT IS THE COST?

We can´t put a price on wellness.

Ask yourself: What price would you pay to help your child develop their confidence? To deepen their self awareness? To increase their positivity? To improve their outlook on life? To succeed academically? To learn healthy habits that can last through life?

What price would you pay for your child to be their true and authentic self?

You´ll give this opportunity to your child when you sign up for mentoring.

FAQ

What is the best method of payment?

We accept E-transfer. Payments must be paid before the first meeting of the month. Payments are made by month.

What is the recommended amount of meetings?

I recommend that we spend a minimum of three months together. That will give us time to get to know each other and build trust.

Can I change my scheduled time if it no longer works?

If you need to reschedule your meeting it must be made 48 hours in advance.

What is the best way to communicate with you before a meeting?

Email. Once you register, you will be able to contact me by phone (see below for more).

Can my child talk to you outside of the meetings?

Maybe. If your child has assignments that they would like to work on during the meeting, I ask you to send them to me 48 hours prior. If your child has an idea or topic they would like to discuss they can tell me but we will save the conversation for the meeting.

Can I book a meeting with a friend or sibling?

No. When other people are involved it changes the dynamic of the group. During our one-on-one meetings, we will create a safe space where you can be your authentic self.

I was late to my meeting. Now what?

You can join the meeting no more than 15 minutes late. After that, the meeting is considered cancelled and you cannot reschedule it.

Is the meeting confidential?

Yes. For safety purposes everything will be documented and recorded. All material will be considered confidential. Please see the confidentiality form for more.

What age is this best for?

I recommend youth age 7 - 18 to register! Younger childrens' meetings will involve more games and activities that will cover the 5 pillars.

How long and how often are the meetings?

Each meeting is 1 hour. I suggest a minimum of 1 meeting per week but it is flexible based on your needs.

How will this benefit my child?

In so many ways! Building meaningful relationship through Youth Mentorship can increase the likelihood of increased grades, develop strong character, increased social emotional development and boost confidence. Check out this video for more info!

I am interested but my child is not... what should I do?

Sometimes it's harder for a parent to get through.... that's why we have a FREE introduction meeting. Your child can see what future meetings could be like and you can decide together whether you move forward or not!

Is this tutoring?

Not exactly! Although we can go over homework assignments, this is mainly a mentoring program. This means that the main focus will be learning how to manage the stress, anxiety, and frustration that might come up during an assignment or before an exam. We can also work on homework assignments but I wouldn't consider this tutoring.
